GROUPON’S CHALLENGE

When Groupon engaged us to optimise their business sales, it was not more data that they needed – they had plenty (thanks to an incredibly talented sales team). What they really needed was a way to sift through more than QUARTER MILLION qualified records and prioritise them by likelihood to convert and their potential order value. This way, their sales team would know exactly who to call first i.e. the most valuable prospects.


HOW GROWTHINTEL SOLVED IT

Historically, Groupon would rely on human instinct and previous experience to target a blend of different businesses, offering them ‘voucher-based’ deals. These included merchants both large and small, at varying scales of value.

Since the introduction of the GrowthIntel platform, Groupon are now able to more accurately predict the total number of vouchers a merchant could reasonably sell to their customers. Thereby giving Groupon the confidence to maximise their marketing spend and reliably target high-converting, high-value opportunities.
